Pomperaug Soccer Club
CODE OF CONDUCT & PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
As a participant (player, parent, coach) in Pomperaug Soccer Club activities:
I PLEDGE TO:
1. Learn the rules of Soccer so that I may be a better player, coach, and fan.
2. Encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating only positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every event.
3. Shake the hand of the other team (players and coaches) and the referees at the end of each game.
4. Make only supportive comments to all players, coaches, and officials.
5. Remember the field is a classroom and everyone is learning.
6. Focus on the fun and the participation
7. Ensure a soccer environment that is free of alcohol and drugs and I will refrain from their use at all practices and games.
I ALSO PLEDGE NOT TO:
1. Ever use profanity at a youth event.
2. Criticize the coaches, players, or officials.
3. Touch any player, coach, parent or game official in a threatening or inappropriate manner.
In violation of our CODE OF CONDUCT, whether in whole or part, the Club reserves the right to enforce punishable actions as deemed appropriate by the Executive Board of Pomperaug Soccer Club up to and including withdrawing the player, parent and/or coach from any and all PSC activities indefinitely and without refund of any monies paid during the season in question.
