IMPORTANT Referee's & Club Officials Information/Assignment Procedures
PomperaugSoccer Club will accept referee's from Southbury/Middlebury and experienced referee's from surrounding towns. If you are already certified, skip to step 2. New referee's, go to Step 1.
STEP 1 - CERTIFICATION
As a Travel Referee (13+ Years of Age) or Club Official (12+ Years of age -
Club Officials usually are in the U13/14 age group league) to be eligible as an In-House (Club Official) referee.

STEP 2. CONTACT PSC Assignor
Once you have become certified as a referee (by US Soccer) you should contact Carlos Almeida indicating you have received your US Soccer Certification (Club officials, once you have taken and passed your on-line test) :
Email Carlos@ctkeeper.com the following information: Your full name, email and Phone number that you will use to be contacted for assignment purposes. Please also include: Level: US Soccer Certified or Club Official/Age, Years of experience (older referee's), preference for Center/Assistant roles. Town that you are located in.
STEP 3: REGISTER in Demosphere (PSC Website)
If your player is currently playing or recently played for the PSC, you are likely already in the Demosphere system. Parents, you need to add the player to your 'Household' if not already there. Once added, you need to make sure your players profile has an email address entered. This is required for your child to get a referee assignment.

STEP 4. GETTING ASSIGNED - weekly procedure:
The best way to ensure that you will be seen in the system by the Assignor is to follow these procedures for communicating with your assignor in order to ensure you are getting weekly Assignments.
1. CHECK YOUR OWN AVAILABILITY FOR NEXT WEEKEND
2. UPDATE YOUR BLACKOUT DATES) IN DEMOSPHERE BY SUNDAY NIGHT
3. text/email your assignor that you have completed your blackout dates.

If you get assigned, you will get an email (child's email address). You have 3 ways to accept or decline:
1. Email (contains accept/decline options. 2. Login to PSC (Pomperaugsoccerclub.com) website, Select Demosphere / Referee's accept/decline assignment(s) 3. You can also use the Demosphere 2.0 app (search on Demosphere 2.0 app on your phone). review referee assignments and Accept/Decline.
You should accept decline by Wednesday at the latest (but sooner if you know). Games will be re-assigned after Wednesday or submitted for self assignment.
STEP 5. SELF-ASSIGNING
The System has the capability to allow you to self assign to games. This feature will be turned on mostly for the Club Officals (in-house program) and select travel games when referee's are needed and are on a first come first serve basis. Follow Step 4 procedures link above.
